Lisa Bergqvist
After graduating law school, Lisa moved to New York City from her hometown of Philadelphia. While working vigorous hours as a Real Estate Finance attorney, she found yoga as a way to bring balance to her life. After twelve years of practice, Lisa decided to leave the legal profession and follow her passion of spreading the benefits of yoga to others. Certified in Structural Yoga Therapy, she has a solid background in anatomy, physiology and how each pose benefits the body. She teaches with precision, insight and sensitivity. She has a joy for the breadth and depth of all that yoga can offer - the balance of mindfulness, movement and breath along with improved flexibility and strength. Lisa encourages her students to feel a sense of freedom to discover and practice yoga at one's own pace and individual level. She feels blessed to be able to bring her love of yoga to Tenafly where she lives with her husband and teeny yoginies.

Jodi Levenson
Back in college, Jodi avidly participated in yoga, dance and sports. But it was yoga that gave her a blissful feeling from the very first class. Jodi has been a practicing Speech Therapist for 25 years. After taking a 10-year hiatus to raise her 3 beautiful children, she went back to her yoga practice. Four years ago she made a decision to become certified as a yoga teacher. To her surprise, in addition to teaching yoga classes in Bergen County, she has been able to share the mindfulness teachings of yoga with many of her adult therapy patients and has made a difference in their lives. She has practiced many styles of yoga but has a special love for the movement of Vinyasa and enjoys sharing it with others. For Jodi, yoga is an unending journey that teaches her more about herself each and everyday. She hopes to bring this opportunity to her students doing it with a vigorous, challenging and joyful approach. She encourages her students to build strength, endurance and flexibility by pairing breath with organic movement and interesting choreography.

Jodi Bienenfeld
Jodi is a New Jersey based, 200 hour registered Yoga Instructor with specialties in prenatal and postnatal yoga as well as children's yoga. She was certified by Bright Spirit Yoga in Hoboken, NJ, and has done extensive workshops with John Friend, Sharon Salzberg, Jillian Pransky and Carrie Parker Gastelu, Director of Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training for Yoga Works. Prior to teaching yoga, Jodi was a television producer at NBC. She is the mother of two children, after yoga filled pregnancies.

Margaret Lesser
Margaret Lesser has taught yoga and movement for over 25 years. Her degree is in therapeutic movement from Barnard College, Columbia University. The class is Iyengar based, but has elements of Alexander Technique, Feldenkreis, Lotte Berk and Pilates. The emphasis is on holding each pose and doing it correctly. This gives the poses depth. The goal is to make yoga a lifetime study and practice.

Stacey Accardo
A natural born athlete, Stacey excelled in sports as she possessed an infallible determination and dedication. As captain of her High School & College track teams, she proved to be a consummate leader as she brought her teams to many victories. In keeping with her insatiable thirst for health and fitness, Stacey became a Registered Nurse as she continued to participate in competitive sports through triathlons. She truly found her calling when she was introduced to Yoga. After experiencing a complete transformation in her life, both body and soul, Stacey felt compelled to bestow this newfound knowledge to others so that they too could experience the profound impact it has had on her life. She went on to receive her certification through Yoga Synthesis in Ramsey by Raji Thron. Stacey is married and has three beautiful children who also participate in the practice of Yoga.

Alison Miller
Alison Miller began practicing yoga in 2007 while backpacking through Costa Rica. She knew immediately that yoga was not just a hobby, but a lifestyle that she was ready to embrace. She has a 200 hour certification in Vinyasa Flow from Barefoot Movement in Oakland, California and an additional 200 hour certification in Kripalu yoga from master teacher, Paula Heitzner. Starting a career in dance in her late twenties, Alison discovered that a background in yoga provided her with the vocabulary and understanding to evolve safely and proficiently at an accelerated rate.  Alison brings a dynamic approach to her yoga classes, drawing on Feldenkrais, Tai chi, Pilates, and Kundalini yoga. She believes balancing strength with flexibility is the soundest way to cultivate the human body. She offers her students accessible  building blocks to better understand the postures and move with precise alignment, while cultivating a relationship to the breath. As a teacher, Alison’s greatest joy is witnessing students tackle their fears and surrender to the process of transformation . Website at
